  Make sure you understand the rules of driving on Fraser and you will have a good time. We originally thought the designated driving times appeared quite restrictive but it makes sense once you see how the conditions change through the day. It would have been extremely difficult to drive on the eastern beach outside these times.

  Fraser 4x4 also limits you to 60km p/h on the beach and restricts any driving through salt water. This makes beach driving a little slower but preserves integrity of the vehicles and your safety as the beach driving can be unpredictable. Fraser island is large so if you want to see alot, allow yourself enough time.

  My daughter & her friends hired a 4x4 and unfortunately damaged the Landcruiser. As they we in bit in shock as they never experienced such a matter and had no idea how to act in this kind of situation, I contacted the very friendly people of this company. The way things were handled, their way of communication and the final financial settlement were very customer-friendly and correct. I can recommend this company to everyone who want to rent a 4x4.
